Join us on Sunday, November 10th, as Banbury Town Council hosts its annual Remembrance Day commemorations. Remembrance Sunday offers a national occasion to contemplate the service and sacrifice of individuals who protected our freedoms and preserved our way of life. We’ll pay tribute to the Armed Forces, emergency services, and honour those who have lost their lives in conflicts.
A service will be held at St Mary’s church, and it will also be broadcast outside the church for those who can’t be inside. Individuals at home will have the opportunity to watch a live stream of the proceedings. As a town, we will unite across faiths, cultures, and backgrounds to commemorate the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth.
(Remembrance Day was organised by Banbury Town Council in support of the Royal British Legion (Banbury branch).
